This has been some thing I have been trying to figure out for a few days now, And with no luck to and answer so I turn to you HT for some help.

Not more then a week ago when ever I was crossing over or in vtec it would sing, Every knew that it was there. Now you can't hear it any more, Just sound like as if it never happened. The little "pull" is still there and my vtec light turns on, But there is no "sing" behind it anymore?

any ideas?

 

what is vtec light? and also vtec sing? u mean when vtec pops,right ?
do u have and CEL (check engine light)? and whats your engine set up and ecu ?

 

Iam reallly confused. Vtec light? wtf what is your motor setup?

lol "vtec light"
A little L.E.D wired of the signal wire to light up when ativated.

Vtec is suppose to in gauge at 5500

No there is no cel light. I know this is a big NO NO these days but I also have a Vafc. I made a post a while back on it. There is a VTO and a VTI and only the VTO changes to on. Dont know if this help with anything, just thought I would add.

Do I really have to make a list of mods again lol. b16A block w/p30 gsr head Skunk2 IM AEM V2 H/E ect ect ect lol sorry dont want to type that much if it doesnt matter that much. if it does I will add the list.

 

all you had to say was b16 w gsr head, are you low on oil?

what do you mean by sing? vtec dont sing...

 

ok so diy vtec light. anyway without the light, u are not able to hear when vtec engages? i can hear my pretty well and noticeable.
check your engine oil level

Sorry for the terminology, You know when vtec ingauges there is a noticable diffence in the tone that is created.. well it's not there anymore? To add to this, usually the V2 increases this noise/tone like it would if you added a sub to you radio lol. This tone was there, Loud, very distinctive. Now nothing.

No I am not low on oil. I check this on a regular basis and I just drove my car for about 30mins before I made this post and I check it as soon as i got back.

Edit: I can feel the little kick but cant hear it in gauge
