i bought this h23a3 and i have been doing some research and i found out that this engine came in the 93 to96 accords in europe and that it has 158 hp and 152ftlb of torque so i was wondering what makes it have less power, is it different cams?

Euro people weigh more? So when they dyno, their added weight lowers the power the motor can put out? jk

Maybe they didn't round up their dyno numbers. Here in North America, seeing how we are all kinda lazy (in general), its easier to say,and write(only by one "o", ie 8 , ie. o on top of o) lol.

Also, 160 sounds not to bad, compared to a meager 158

I'm just kidding kinda, but how important is this information to you?

In reality though, I'm not sure anybody here on the planet could give you an explanation.

edit* or hopefully someone will, so you can get a real answer!
