**'95 civic d15 over heats! help is needed!!**
**having issues with the d15 overheating in the bubble. i have changed out all of the sensors, and the fan relay. car still over heats, and fan won't go on unless i jump the terminals. also, fan wont cool down motor when jumped. car runs fine, but over heats real quick. i was thinking that my last resort would be the waterpump. any ideas would greatly be appriciated. thanks people!!**
You need to
1.) pressure test your cooling system. makes sure there are no leaks.
2.) Make sure that your fan is turning on.... and then turning off. If its not turning on, then it sounds like you either have 1 or 2 bad temp switches. ... next
3.) Make sure that both of your hoses are getting hot. (one will be cold and one will be hot until your thermostat openes.
if you are not getting hot water to your sensor it may not know to turn the fan on.
You should be able to see if the water pump is working once the thermostat opens..... the water in the radiator should be agitating
