I took delivery today on my '01 Spa Yellow S2000 today. It was a demo that the Sales manager of the dealership drove for 1200 miles (not too terrible).

I'm happy

how much was it? ...

i would have asked for under 27k, considering the manager probably didnt break it in properly and redlined that car from day 1.

 

I paid sticker, but I got the OEM lip spoiler, sides, rear spoiler "thrown" in, and I talked the price of my trade in up quite a bit.

.....and at any dealership in this town, you would have gotten laughed off the lot. The salesmen here don't even get a break on 'em.

Boy, would I be pissed if I were a salesman and couldn't get a car for less than MSRP.

Good choice man. Be carefull though, your going to have to adjust to driving a rwd car now since you were probably used to flooring it around corners in your Integra. God knows I had problems with my 97 240. I spun it out 3 times in 2 days (2 times were in the rain ofcourse) just getting used to it, and it STILL is a bitch sometimes (mainly in the rain).

lucky man. spa yellow is a badass color for the s2k. looks especially fine with cf hood and black/dark rims! nice.
