Default gasket for JRSC supercharger to intake manifold

There's a squarish paper gasket that's supposed to go between the Jackson Racing supercharger and intake manifold (B18C1 kit, specifically).

I had a guy who rebuilds these Eaton superchargers tell me that I should use grey Permatex instead, as the paper gasket can leak and warp the surface of the manifold.

anybody heard about this?

I've heard the same thing. I used permatex and it worked great in the past.

Either way should work, I've done them both. I usually just cut my own gasket for it though.

I've done the paper gasket covered in grey permatex which also seems to work too.
