Default Fuel pump plug questions

Im swapping a tank with walbro pump from an 88 hf to a 91hf. The 88 uses a different plug to connect to the body harness. I think I have figured out what I need to do but thought Id try to confirm it before I did it.

My camera is dead so I made a diagram of what I have

I think what I need to do is cut the yellow/blk + black wires to the pump on the 88. Cut the same wires on the 91 and put the 91 plug on the other wires. I think that will solve my problem, anyone care to confirm?

yup that will work just match the wire colors. you can tie both black together if you have to their both grounds.
