Default XS POWER TYPE-R CAM?

Anyone had any problems using the XS power type-r cam and valvesprings?
They are on ebay for 160$. Seems like a good deal. Most people dont trust XS power but if anyone has any first hand experience with these cams let me know.

well i dont know about yours but when i was puttin my setup back together and i took the stock keepers out of my gsr cams/cam gears the xs cams were not machined correctly for the stock keepers. the intake one fitted a little too tight and the exhaust cam would not fit correctly. i wish i would have done some research on these before picking them up but im gonna pick up some blox comp hsl's and sell those to someone that is FULLY AWARE of the product. I've heard rumors of the intake cam snapping at high rpms and also there was a guy in houston,tx that had these and the one of the intake lobes grounded out his retainer like 2k miles after putting them in. I would say sell them on ebay or whatever and get some quality cams and valvetrain.

reguardless of what anyone says..if its too good to be true , it probably is..
XS power has some good things..but its nothing i'd put inside my engine.. they're manifold's are ok and their intercoolers too but thats about it.. The Cams your buying are made out of a steel thats too strong for our rocker arms and well eat away at the lobes.. as well as they aren't measured correctly.. I for one tuned a car that had these cams..we put them ona mic and they were wayyy bigger then the spec sheet it came with..i wouldn't buy em.

i got acxious one day on ebay when i saw these thinking they were type r. they were actually xs (read the tiny print at the bottom). what this seller is doing is against ebay policy. i am stunned that this hasn't been taken care of. anyway, i never paid for them. told the guy to puck off. ebay didnt give me a strike or anything after i explained the situation. **** me off.
