Broken into DC4 on New Years Eve...way to go!!!!!
I currently live in MD. MD is one of the worst places for auto theft now. PG county is even worse. I read an article a year ago that Prince Georges County has a vehicle stolen every 25 minutes. And has more stolen cars than the whole state of VA.
So I spent New Years eve arguing with my girl friend about which family we are spending the New Year with and bla bla. I decided to be with my family in PG County and she went home to VA. Big Bust on ME!!!
So im driving on 495W from Montgomery County when I feel the steering wheel somewhat at an angle while I was going straight like out of alignment. I turn my new system down. And noticed a slight thump that got louder, louder, louder to an outragesly loud THUMP THUMP THUMP!
I had just finished crossing the 95N/495W split right before exit 25 RT1 College Park.
I walk outside to look that my passenger side front tire is flat due to excessive CAMBER wear. Dummy me never bought a camber kit with my Eibach Springs. Not only that I had just recently let my friend borrow my spare tire. I call a fellow family member lives 15 minutes from my location and explain. Time of day was 2:45 PM.
Friend comes I remove the X360 from the car and take along, disconnected dizzy, turned kill switch removed my Garmin Nuvi 680 from window, completed took out my Panasonic Flip Out and placed it in trunk. Threw Navi in glove box locked it. a small white towel I had in trunk in door to signify I will be back. Armed alarm and left.
Roughly Sun is starting to set I head back roughly at 4:50pm my fellow friend from AllStar Imports in Beltsville, MD lets me borrow one of his Si rims from his 99EM1 that is parked. I head back and reach the car at 5:25. Reason it took so long was I got some food, and talked with my friend.
I see the Integra in the mist of darkness with a smile. My friend merges in front of the Integra and backs up. I open the door to notice something when my heart sank. I notice my hood has been popped and left unlatched. I try remembering and hoping that I left it unlatched when I disconnected dizzy. Finally I pray as I walk to the car.
I finally open my hood to see I have been vandalized and first note comes to mind the stupid ricer carbon fiber intake that the car came with is gone. And last but not least my precious 12K HID Kit is missing. My battery had been disconnected so the alarm would not sound. I adored my HID kit many people this it was rice I do too but no one else around me has it so I felt it was different.
I walk over to my driver side window to see that my window has been pried open and so was the passenger side. Luckily to bieng this the second time my cars have been broken into a year ago someone stole my Sparo Steering wheel, Quick Release, and Momo hub adapter the pried the window open like before but since that day I disconnected the door locks inside and left dummy locks so the door only opens to my remote or key and the switches are hidden inside the car for my knowledge.
I am glad they didnt get inside take my Alpine sub, Competition AMP, Panasonic TV, Guitar Hero 3 and Guitar.
Thanks everyone for reading. Dont leave your car in PG. I am re routing my hood cable this week and I just picked up the Viper VM9000 I think it is with back up battery.

As much as it sucks having something taken from you but I'm glad those things are gone.

LOL Barney lights...
they pop your hood by reaching up through the bottom of the bumper and just grap and pull hood latch cable... hood pops right open... (happened to me already) i know some one that stopped ppl from doing that not only from relocating his cable but by being an *** and he some how stuck razor blades where his cable was so when ppl reashed up they sliced their hands up haha... and of course some one tried poppin his hood and to their surprise instead of parts they got their hands messed up...
do what i did, not only is my alarm hooked to the doors, but there is a pin going to the hatch and the hood also so if either of them are opened it goes off too... just popping mine and not even opening it sets my alarm off...

I think I was either 14 or 15 when I joined the forum. Immaturity haha. I have learned a lot from HT I would change my name but it be too much of a hassle.
