is this true prelude b20 crank in a b18c1?

Default is this true prelude b20 cank in a b18c1?

i was told that a crank out of the prelude b20 will fit in a b18c1 is this true

preludes dont have b20 motors its either h22 or h23...im not sure if the b20 crank will work but i heard b series parts are all interchangable..i can ask my mechanic. ill see what he sezz

older preludes had a b20 in them. i am not sure if it will fit or not.

may i ask why you want to change?

as far as i know its a false statement. the b20 og prelude crank although a B it cant have relations with any b-series engines like b16,b18,c1,b18c5,b20(crv).

Yes you can use it. with the older prelude b20 crank. its not a simple drop in though, we had some machining to do to it to make it work. we used it in an ls block. one had the older single cam prelude crank which used b16 rods. and the other used the dual cam prelude crank machined to fit LS rods.

the single cam prelude crank required no machining and dropped in utilising the b16 rods. the dual cam prelude as i remember we had to size the journals ofr the LS rods. and maybe something else. it was Years ago so i'm not exactly sure what we had to do besides the basic machining!! other than that its a drop in and i'm pretty sure thats a 95mm stroke crank..
