Idle at 3k and throws TPS code(7) replaced it same thing. Any suggestions?
Im trying to help a buddy fix his dohc sol. It idels at 3k and throws tps code, we changed it for a new one and does the same thing. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do next?
did you reset your ecu? loosen the screws on the TPS and rotate it a little while the car is running and see if it changes anything

you have to calibrate the TPS sensor by moving back and fourth. You need a voltmeter to mesure the voltage of the TPS. Check with Honda what the numbers are but you need a certian output at idle and a certian output at wide open.
