Default 2 quick questions: ECU swap question and rims question.

hey. well i have a 99 civic si n i just did a JDM ITR swap. i have the rite ecu but only 2 of the three plugs plug into the ITR ecu. i talked 2 a buddy of mine and he told me that my car is OBD2B and that the ecu belongs to OBD2A and that i would need a converter of the sorts to run it rite. i just wanted 2 make sure thta this was correct before i buy the wrong converter. also i am looking for a set of new or good-condition used Spoon SW388 in a 16 by 7 4 lug.. if any body has any info on where 2 get them PLEASE let me kno. it would be VERY appreciated. i am in love with those rims and they discontinued them so they are very hard 2 find online. thank you for your time.
Sencerily, Rob

You wil need what's called an adapter to run that ECU. However, you should look at the benefits of running a chipped OBD1 ECU as well.

That said, find an OBD2b - OBD2a harness adapter and you should be fine.

As for the wheels, good luck. Most people don't want to sell them. There's always knockoffs to be had for a fraction of the price .

Get some Rega's and spray paint them black.

ICBMOTORSPORT.COM

InlineFour.com sells the SW388's though. Allthough they are the same thing.

To go OBD1? All you need is a tunable ECU with an engine management of some sort, and an OBD2b - OBD1 harness adapter. Have your tuner write up a basemap to get you going, and have it tuned on a dyno.

Good luck on the rims.
