Just need some Opions plz!
Whats up? I just picked up a 93 honda del sol si so far i have enjoyed it pretty well, and I am starting to think about what to do I wanna race it when the track opens up in March and was thinking about building a badass motor for it I was thinking about doing a B20 bottemend with high compression pistions and eagle rods and then do a 1.8 GSR head on it. I wanna run nitrous also, I wanna stay away from Boost at all possible. So either i was gonna build that motor combo with nitorous or pick up a LS Vtec motor and rebuild it all from bottemend up?? and run nitorous also. Which one would you Honda experts perfer?. Thanks for you time!. Mike

ill help you out tho. the force induction section will be a better place to ask this.

why would the forced induction section be a better place when he clearly he stated he doesn't want boost???? help me understand your logic.
anywho, b20 vtec ls vtec, there have been so many threads and articles in magazines about these swaps, reallyreally...seriously.
now this thread will eventually turn into a "get a h-series" then lots of arguments about why people are always bringing up h series.....ughhh
i say go ls vtec if you're gonna gas it....if its not your DD then go b20 and have fun.

ya sorry about putting this thread in the wrong spot haha first time on this website ya my del sol is gonna be my DD so im thinking LS Vtec for sure now. Why is it bad to run high compression with N20? just curious what the bad effects of that can be. Thanks again guys!.

N2O is a form of forced induction. However, since the OP's question also has some N/A content, it's difficult to properly classify.
