What are those things called? I tried searching but without knowing what the actual part is no results were coming up...

I'm talking about the part of the rear bumper that has little notches for the mufflers - there's some aftermarket piece you can get that replaces it with one for a single-muffler setup. Ordering the J's 70mm in a few weeks and don't want to look stupid with 2 notches but only 1 muffler.

they only make them in cf, from what i have seen, and if you have an ap1, which is all they fit...doesnt really matter because its not as pronounced as the ap2.

imo, dont waste your money.

 

you can get them in carbon fiber or fiberglass...

ther eis a company... ztec industres, i think, that sells the fiberglass one... I think it costs around $140.

 

Do not order from ztec. The product is great don't get me wrong. I run one on my car. But it took me 4 months to get it to my door. Customer service was terrible and I was lied to repeatedly by the owner of ztec. By the way it's plastic.

 

i got mine next day from ztec. good company upgraded mine to carbon fiber for free.

thanks for the input. I am about to sell my dual spugen and go to a single, but I want the cap too... guess I will have to find another source.

I to had heard horror stories about ztec. I ordered mine and had it at my doorstep in 5 days. Though, I called in my order, I tried calling back and the number is no longer available.
