Default Cooling fan will not turn on... help!

My cooling fan on the radiator on my teg is not kicking on... tell me what is should do to help fix this.

look inside and see if its burn,you can also smell it

why don't you put straight power to the fan motor and see if it kicks?

i might just do that... i am not electronically savvy that is why i am asking this too... if i do that will the fan be on always and how do i do that?

all you're doing is bypassing the relay to see if the motor kicks

if it does, then the motor is fine

i would then proceed to replace the relay....it's cheap anyway

and for the op dont keep it hooked up straight to the battery cuz it will away from the radiator rather than to it

instead of running it straight to the battery if you want it to come on all the time when you start your car then pull the sensor plug off the thermostat cut the plug off and crimp the two wires together.
