5K Rpm Idle, while rolling, untill complete stop?
98 JDM gsr motor, in 01 ls. w/ p72 obd2a ecu, w/obd2b - obd2a conversion harness.
If I take the car out of gear/push in the clutch, the car idles at 4000 while driving, It all started out with an Idle Bounce, about a month ago. Untill one day I was drivin hard with it, then now it will Idle around 4000 untill I come to a comlete stop, even if I'm barely rolling it will continue to idle high untill absolute stop. Then it still idles around 1600 while stopped. But no Idle bounce anymore.
I just came back from a trip on the back roads, I was beating on it, and now it idles at 5000 while moving, and 2000 while stopped, and still no idle bounce.
I've cleaned and replaced IACV, with no effect. Iacv works, because when I unplug it, idle goes way down to nearly dead.
I've bled coolant, and could possibly re bleed again if needed. I find it hard to bleed with only using the fill cap, I wish there was a bleed bolt!
I'm pretty certain there is no vacuum leak, if I kink the vacuum line, nothing happens.
I could try swaping TPS if you guys think that may be the problem?
I just don't understand why it idles high while rolling, untill I stop?

I just cleaned the throttle spring by spraying brake cleaner on it, and then put fluid film on it, and now it seems alot better.
Idles at 3000, and when stopped, it idles around 1000.
I think I'm going to take my throttle off this weekend and clean it out, and see if that helps.
I can roll for 10 seconds or however long, and it will just idle really high.
I am wondering if somebody could explain the reason why it drops when I come to a complete stop? What would cause that?

http://www.team-integra.net/sections...?ArticleID=421 There is a pic of the bleeder valve thingy in that DIY.

You have multiple vacuum lines. All it takes is a pin-hole to screw stuff up bigtime. I'd replace them all to be safe.
I could try swapping* TPS if you guys think that may be the problem?
Possible. If new vacuum lines don't fix it, then I'd try it. It's one less thing that could be the problem.

I think you've got a vacuum problem.. But then again, I'm me and that means I'ma n00b. But since I'm the only one who's replied to you, you don't have too many options if your looking for HT help
I'd start with those suggestions
. Update us plz

I just tried replacing pcv valve, and that didn't do anything either,
Then I tried puting my old p75 ls ecu in, and the tack works completely fine again, just rev limit cuts at 7000.
And it seems to idle alot better also, the most it will idle is 2000, while rolling and then drops to the reg. 900 when stoped.
Put the gsr ecu in, and back to trouble again.
I read somewhere once that the car idles higher while driving, so when you shift gears, it stays up for you. Is this true?
Is this how my ls ecu is supposed to act?
Do you think that maybe I have a bad gsr ecu?
My tach cuts out at 5000rpm and goes crazy with the gsr ecu aswell.

I also checked my tps and map sensors, to make sure the plugs are connected to the correct sensor, and they are. As i read on here where someone said that they were having similar problems as mine, and that was what was wrong.
Also, I had emissions test done today, and failed horribly!
Results were:
Hc limit:68
Reading:148
Co: limit: .38
Reading: 2.72
Does that not look very bad? What would cause that? Co is 7 times the max limit!
Any help, please guys!!!

So, your having the exact same problem?
Is there anyway you could try another ecu on your car? Because that is what I want to do, but I don't have any spare gsr ecu laying around. And I don't want to buy one just to try, and maybe find out I wasted my money. I just have a feeling that might be the problem, but not sure because there is no way to try.
If you could try this and get back to me, that would be great!!!
Otherwise, if you find out something else, please let me know aswell, because I've been in the dark with this one for over a month now, and its really anoying me now.
Thanks buddy!

THE FIX:
I took off my tps, and found that the tab is broken, and also found that you can not buy a tps anywhere, so I drilled the one off my ls motor, and put it on my gsr, and now my car idles perfectly.
Thanks for anybody's help
