Default fixing the rear defroster

i have a 89 crx si and my rear defroster doesnt work.. anyone have any ideas? i tried the switch and the fuse.. i cant think of anything else.. someone wanna help me out?

i switched out the switch with my friends car and i still had the same problem

you can always try tracing the wire looking for a short. does your rear wiper and 3rd brake light work? the plug could be faulty back there too. the connector for the wires is in the rear trunk area in the hole by the taillight on the passenger side

yeah my rear wiper still works and so does the 3rd brake light work.. ill check it out anyways.. maybe there is something wrong with the wire somewhere

its always worth a try. the wire of course runs up the body from there to that little rubber piece that crosses over. You could also check that too if your hatch has ever been off. good luck though, i had a friend who actually had to change his whole hatch cause that little block on the glass went bad or something of that sort best of luck to you

alright thanks... ill check it out tomorrow when i have time after work or at work or something.. if anything.. last resort is stealing my brothers hatch and hoping it works
