having problems with my swap

i just got a 97 coupe with a 98 gsr and it has all types of problems like it redlines at 7500 rpm no matter what ecu i use ,and i have to hold the gas down a little for it to stay on,finally it drains my battery it marks battery when i shut it off ...bought new battery and alt still same results

that sounds like a wiring issue....check to make sure your wires/connections are good....
