It's up to you really. People have had success with both, the new hydraulic actuator still uses a cable, so it's not like you're eliminating that. The actuator also has the issue of finding a place to mount it.

I have the hydraulic version. I was told that it has better pedal feel, I never drove the linkage type, so I can't compare. I can say that this route was much pricier, you need to buy a slave cylinder from a 94+ B-series, I got mine off a Del Slo. Mounting the MC isn't too bad, but it's weird looking for sure. Mine is mounted in front of the radiator, where Innovative recommended it. Then you need to get Braided Steel Teflon coated lines and connectors, Innovative will sell them for $45 i think. The slave cylinder was $50, so your talking $100 extra for hydraulic. I'm happy I did it, but I tend to over-spend on my "budget" racer

i personally prefer not having the hassle of extra compnents that could fudge up. just straight cable. you dont have to worry about fluid level, leaking, bleeding, ive got 2 of my friends wit hydro issues.

I did use the Innovative kit, I'm telling you that you need to buy all that other stuff (lines, fluid, fittings, slave cylinder) IN ADDITION to the Innovative kit. I've had no problems.

Most people having hydro issues are using DIY conversions from a 92+ Honda, the Innovative kit seems to be fine. As a baseline, if I could do it all over again, I'd stay with the Hydro Innovative kit I got, but I just wish I knew everything else needed, but now you do

It doesn't come with the slave cylinder, that's the master cylinder you see there
