Remote start won't activate on my Viper 791XV
I have had my 791XV for over two years just with a basic install in my 96 GSR. Today, I went to hook up the remote start wiring, I followed the instruction booklet to a T, followed the wiring diagram from bulldogsecurity.com to a T, and it still won't do anything when I go to remote start it.
Here is how I have it wired:
MAIN HARNESS
2)red=wired directly to battery
purple=starter wire (black/white)
pink=ignition 1 (black/yellow)
orange=accessory 1 (yellow)
SECONDARY HARNESS
gray=hoodpin switch
brown=brake switch (green/white)
violet/white=tachometer (yellow/green, A20 on OBD2a harness)
I reprogrammed the remote to default...nothing.
I programmed the remote start function to the * button...nothing.
I pressed the * button repeatedly and held it down...nothing.
There is battery voltage between the two red wires and the alarm ground. The tach signal has been learned by the alarm. All connections were made with solder and heat shrink tubing.
I don't really know what else is wrong unless I connected the wrong wire somewhere. Can someone please help me?

I am lazy and don't want to go outside to warm up my car in the morning. This also means I can sell my turbo timer and use the one built into the alarm. I don't care what you think. If I start it in gear and it crashes into a wall, it is my car and my problem not yours.
Thanks JDM_Ej, I got it working by grounding that circuit out.

That way you can be lazy and not have to worry about starting your car in gear.
I don't care if if you smack up your car, like you said, "it's your car" I care that you being the lazy fart you are, your going to start your car in gear one day when there are kids playing in front of it, how would you feel about running over a couple of 5 year olds playing hide and seek?
