about a week ago i get into my car like any normal day, it won't start.. nothing the day before showed any signs of failure or stall or anything.. just nothing 1 morning. it cranks over but it sounds to me like no fuel or a fuel related problem. so i changed the fuel pump relay AKA main relay and that made things a little better, it turned my check engine light off when key is in the on pos. and it clicks the 2 or 3 times like i heard it was supposed to.. when i crank it now the CEL flashes while it is trying to start but no start. i am not that stupid so i will check for spark tomorrow. but i need other hints or tips.

the car is high mileage but the engine was replaced about 150k miles ago.. no other noticeble problems until that 1 day last week. and where can i find my fuel filter. is it under the car? i looked but coudn't really see. After i changed the Main relay it almost started. maybe for a split second and died instantly.. Any ideas?
