Ive been having issues with the alternator not charging, originally we thought it was the battery so I bought a new one, didnt fix it. Then I figured the alternator itself was bad so I pulled it and took it to 2 different places to get it tested both of which said it was good(results were almost the same as a brand new one that I had them test too). Well now it had to be a fuse right? Wrong again, all the fuses are in good shape. So now I pull the plug off the alternator to see where power is lacking since obviously its not getting the signal to start charging. On the alternator plug I have 12 volts on white/blue 5 volts on blue Im guessing the third one that needs powered is black/yellow since thats what it is on my 'teg but where does the signal originate from so I can bypass the harness since Im assuming thats where the short is. Any help would be greatly appreciated
