**Heater is not working on my (Dc4)**

Ok so basically when i switch my heater on it blow out cold air. I have already CHANGED the inlet hose that goes to the heater core because i thought it had a faulty switch. Reason i say that is because the inlet hose is HOT right where it meets the head, BUT when you follow that hose to the firewall it is cold. It is almost like the coolant doesnt reach the core.
*i thought it was my Thermostat, so i bought a brand new one (when i swtiched it there wasnt even one in there!!!!) However the Air doesnt seem as cold. I also checked the fuses, and all are ok. Coolant leve is topped off
Also ran water to try to unclogg anything going into the inlet. Maybe the core is messed up. IDK and i am freezing

Have you tried disconncting the cable at the bypass valve (where you inlet and outlet coolant hoses connect to) and see if that allow your coolant to circulate?
if your taking about the cable that opens the valve to let the coolant in?? If so i have manually done that. actually that is the only way i switch it if we are on the same page
Yes, that's what I was referring to . If that's the case, check your cable connection at the heater control/lever inside the car. It may have disconnected itself.
i have switched it manually from under the glove box, and from the engine bay. I am lost
thanks for the insight though. Any other possible answers

well if u know that the switch is working, then the heater core is clogged. it should work if u flush it out really good, if that dont work, then u have to replace it. flushing it always worked for me. make sure u have ur heater on when u flush it
