81-civic??
im looking at this 81 civic and i noticed that the 82 year model has square headlighs and a flat hood, as the 81 has round headlights and a vented hood,my first question is can i put the grill hood and headlights from the 82 on the 81 will they bolt right up? and for the second question other than the hood headlights and grill, is that the only difference in the 81 and 82 on the outside ? are the bodies the same other than that

80/81's had uglier dashboards than the 82/83's IMO.
Less refined in looks, with funky clock and weird ergonomics. They also had less invasive door panels than the 82/83's. Trim, bumpers etc were a little different also.
The front body work should all switch over just fine. It's all cosmetic and the basic "car" is exactly the same underneath.
Think of the small differences all over the place between the 88/89 civic and the 90/91 civic....the 80/81 and 82/83 Civics are much the same way.
