yeah turn your car on and when it is ideling tune the crew right to lower the thrattel and tune it to the left to raise the idel. your idel shoud be around 700 to 800 rpm (ideling) (720 rpm)
that is how you adjusted it.
if you want to be perfect you have to unplug a sensor and do other stuff with it.

Correct. Jumper your timing connector. (That takes the computer adjustments out of the mix) Then set it to the correct RPM. Pull the jumper and your done.
CHILTON says:
1. Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature. (Allow cooling fan to come on at least once)
2. Connect Tachometer
3. Disconnect the 2P connector from the Electronic Air Control Valve (EACV)
4. Set the front wheels in the straight ahead position and check the idle speed with the headlights, cooling fan, rear defroster, blower fan, and air conditioning not operating.
5. Idle Speed should be as follows:
-All Civics and CRX with 1.5L engine 575-675 RPM
-CRX HF 450-550 RPM
-Civic/CRX Si, and 4WD Wagon 500-600RPM

what jumper u talking about i have no clue where it is tho i looked and cant find enethying its a 91 civic dx with a mpfi swap
Dude, those RPM numbers are off. No I am not blaming you.
As for the connector... Look by the hood prop's hook when in the down position. Should be right by the window washers water lines. It might have a yellow cap on it. It is a two wire connector.
I have also seen them on the otherside of the strut mount by the injector resistor mounted on a piece of metal with a tab.
Check those two spots out and get back.
