Default NEED HELP! 12mm Cam cap Bolt broke in head.

I know this is a new jack move but honestly it was not my fault. I used a cheap torque whrench and it went past the 20lbs recommended. Any suggestions on how to get the piece out thats still in the head? Thanks

Use a small flat head or something similar(has to be strong), and take a hammer and start the tedious process of hammering it out. lol. Or Easy out? EZ out.. or however they spell it.

GL!

What is "easy out"? I was thinking drilling the bolt and trying to back it out.

Easy out is what you described.. Its a reserve drill.. pretty much. Google it.

if u can, try to tap it out like suggested earlier. drilling those hardened bolts can be a bitch and then you'll get shavings everywhere. how much could you have possibly went past 20 lbs to get one of those to break? those should be able to withstand like 50 lbs before breaking.
