my first build AND I CAN'T EVEN START IT!!!
i just picked up a d16a6 and i can't get it on an engine stand because the bolts that came out of the block aren't long enough to go through the arms of the stand.
to my knowledge i need an M12 1.25 bolt that's about 4.5-5 inches long and i've been going around EVERYWHERE but no one has it... i just called a specialty bolt shop too and even they don't have anything.
am i trying to use the wrong bolts or what??? for any of you that have done a rebuild how the hell did you get block onto the stand???

heres what you do...go to the junk yard and find a 88-91 civic EF...take out the front crossmember bolts and put it in your pocket...walk out...go home and put the that engine on the stand...or you can use your crossmember bolts as a temporary solution...hope that helps.
