Password spherical trailing arm bushing?
http://passwordjdm.com/Passwor....aspx
Anyone have opinions about this? It's the first I've heard of using a spherical bushing in the RTA. I'm no suspension expert, but I figure that if it was a good idea then a real suspension company (ie: Pic) would have made it and not a bling company like Password.
Input?

If you search the RR&autoX forum there are a lot of topics about them.
I'd buy them from http://specialprojectsms.com/ though, Kiwi is a great guy and helped PCI be able to produce them.
A lot of racers run them and love them.

could you PM me his screen name, and or e-mail address. I saw a post with a compliance bushing he built but can't find it, and wanted to find out some more info.

This is a good piece. It's branded PasswordJDM, but as you can see, it's made by PCI. It's not uncommon that it happens, just like King also sells upper A-arms that were branded with their name.
For TA bushing, either you get OEM, Mugen or spherical. Do not get any other aftermarket poly pieces, because they've been reported with binding issues.
Many racers have used the PCI piece with great results.

theres always a trade off for performance. it may not always be comfort either. what i am getting at is lifespan. rubber bushings shrugg off lateral loads, but let things flex when you don't want. spherical bearings won't budge, untill they wear out and get sloppy.
i guess a good engineering team would over-engineer them a bit. but i would want to hear it from them if i were concidering it.
screw that though, you want them on your Rex? bling it up!!

I'd like to add that Poly will deform and not bounce back like a rubber and eventually get sloppy as well.
