Yes.

MAP stands for Manifold Absolute Pressure. The ECU uses this and other sensors to determine how much fuel to inject into the engine. Too lean of a mixture and will gas explode instead of burn.
Wikipedia has a decent writeup, search for MAP Sensor.

so if my map sensor was bad and my mixture was to lean, would that cause my spark plugs to go bad quickly? because they did and i couldn't figure out why. but i know my map sensor has been bad for a little while now.
Well, too rich of a mixture isn't ideal either. Lean can just cause more damage.
When I hear fouled plugs the first thing that comes to mind is oil (worn seals, rings), then rich fuel mixture, but ultimately a lot of things can happen to plugs. What do they look like? There are guides that show pictures of what the plug looks like and explain what happened for it to get into that state. Googling for "spark plug guide rich lean" returned this basic guide (link), but there are others.
I suppose if you know your MAP sensor is bad, fixing or replacing it would be a good step. Though obviously that depends on how you know your MAP sensor is bad... Check Engine Light?

Sorry all I have are 3280-5Vps-30's and I have one 3000-5VPS-30. I would not drive it with out a map. The map tells the computer alot of important things..about fuel mixture. Im sure I have the right Map at work.
You really went for the trifecta with this one. Not only did you necro a 7 year old dead thread, you necro'd an irrelevant 7 year old dead thread, with a car that doesn't even belong in this section.
I truly hope you never reproduce, and if you do, hopefully your offspring get their brains from the other parent.
