Integra brake swap? (searched)
i have everything needed for the swap, but my 92 dx hatchback axles are not working with the integra hubs? The spindle doesnt go all the way threw, but they work just fine on the stock hubs. What axles are you guys using with your brake swaps?

you need to apply some elbow grease. the axle shaft is the same diameter (32mm) on the integra and civic. chances are the integra hubs probably has some rust on it, apply some lube and elbow grease and they will slide right in.

Yeah, I was just gonna say rub some low grit sand paper on it to get any "build up" off of it, make it slide on easier. Make sure it's lubed liberally. Though unless it's out of round or the concentricity is off, it should go on.

Thanks for the replies, but we figured ity out. We had bought remanufactured axles from advance auto, because the oem ones were toast and we didnt feel like rebuilding them. Turns out the tolerences on the reman. axles were slightly off. they fit fine in the civic hub but not the integra.
So we went back to advance and they let us try the old cores which worked so then we tried the brand new axles that they had in stock and they worked. So the only thing i can come up with were the tolerences were out of spec just enough on the reman. axles to not fit the integra hubs.
We got everything figured out now, and thanks for the info.
