Popcorn welds

Default Popcorn welds

I hav been playing around with my welder trying to get better at it. I have a Lincoln 175A MIG without gas welding steel scraps.

Most of my welds look like popcorn. How come?

Yes. And the unit is wired correctly. Others have mentioned that the surfaces are not clean enough. What do you think?

More heat, less heat, its hard to tell. Post a pic.

If you think the metal is clean, clean it again.
