Just a warning: Altezza's will get you flamed on this website.

Stick to oem or oem-looking lights...you won't regret it.

I know that there are OEM taillights that have white bottoms and red tops. I'm pretty sure they come on other models, but I know for sure that they come on the Honda Integra SJ in Japan. Good luck finding them though. An importer might be able to get you a set if you ask.

Remember that since you have a sedan, there are a lot more parts available to you out there. You just have to research it yourself and you should be able to find out a lot. I don't think there's any other model based off of the 6th gen Civic coupe or hatch, but there are a lot based off of the sedan.

Hellz yeah - that's what I have on my EJ8 - '99/'00 tails - looks very good .

The red/white(clear) ones like that look pretty good - the altezza just makes things look crappy.

Also, this is an appearance post, but you're in a tech forum. If you want peoples' opinions on appearance/cosmetics related issues, the appearance/cosmetics forum is located [url=https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum/28here[/url].

I thought you had a coupe. Those are sedan taillights that were never sold in the US. Those also fit '96-'98 sedans, not the '99-'00s.

Since we're talking about the different options available for other cars, this could possibly be considered tech too (different markets and all). I disagree that anything that has to do with looks should go in A/C. A/C to me is more of a "post photos" section imo.

Here's a pic of a set of the 1.6EL taillights for the OP.

If he wanted the '99-'00 taillights, he'd need a new trunk.

This thread is about an LX sedan, not a coupe.

If it HAS to be between those two choices, I'd go with #1.

I'd stay OEM though.

I prefer OEM, so I don't really like any of them.

Here are the photos of the lights the OP is looking for though. This way when the auction goes down they'll still be visible.

The OEM lights we posted above are from the JDM Honda Integra SJ (NOT like an Acura Integra - the SJ is based off the '96-'00 Civic sedan) and from the Canadian Acura 1.6EL.

I don't drive a sedan. I drive a coupe.

I'd get one of the OEM sets shown above. Either EL outers or Integra SJ full taillights.
