just need a lil input in this, i just picked up a 96hx 5spd civic and there's a sound coming from the tranny, the gear's go in good no pop out's no grind's, but when i engage the clutch and let off of it it make's like a grinding sound off/on well the car is running on low rpm any idea's what it could be.

 

It could be your pressure plate. could be bent or one of the diaphrams might be cracked. who knows lol. crack that tranny open and check your pressure plate. :]

yeah i'll open up the tranny tomorrow to see whats up in there is there any way to tell when the tranny is going out ? or if it is out... where in moreno valley do u stay i stay in movall to thanks for the input
