brake piston
I was cahnging my brake pads, when I was compressing the other pistons, the driver's side front piston "fell" out of the caliper. I haven't lost any brake fluid, and its been a year since then. When we checked my brakes, that brake pad was still brand new and the other passenger side had twice the ware. Well I guess i'm asking if there is a kit to repair the caliper "boot" or if I should just buy a new caliper, and also if it would caost the same to upgrade my calipers now? thanks in advance for any replies.

Yes, you can just purchase a caliper 'rebuild' kit from the local dealership, not too expensive, it comes with new boots/seals and the grease/lubrication as well. Its fairly easy to 'rebuild' them, but it can sometimes be hard to get the piston back into the caliper bore once the new boot(dust seal) is installed, just be sure to clean out the bore and the outside of the piston VERY well. Enjoy.
