I OWN A 1995 CIVIC DX MODEL ...
AS U KNOW THE DX MODELS HAVE NO TACH ON THE GAUGE CLUSTER ..
IM LOOOOKING TO BUY A 1993 EG SI GAUGE CLUSTER AND I WANNA KNOW IF ITS PLUG AND PLAY ???

ITS A STUPID QUESTION BUT I DONT KNOW THE ANSWER .....

Did that end up being plug and play b/c i would have said no i have a 94 civic Dx and i just bought an si gauge cluster and everything plugs in but there is a green connector that has 4 wires coming off of it .... i am guessing it is for the tach but i am not sure what the 4 wires are suppost to go to

But there is only 3 plugs coming out of my wireing harness for it and there is 4 on the back on the si cluster ??

it is a 92 si and a 94 dx... both are hatchback not like that would make a diff

 

I don't remember which plug does which. Maybe its for the SRS? But as long as the tach/speedo/odo/lights work, who cares lol. I left one plug unplugged on my cluster, because my P28 was making the cruise control light stay on for some reason

 

yeah i just took it out and got the other one yesterday i just figured that it would be the tach idk i guess i will go home hook it up if the tach and everything works [freak] it .. if not i will be back on here
