i might be buying a recaro srd with no rails or sliders. in order to make it fit into my em1 can i just buy vision super low rails for an ek? an thats it?

if the Vision rails bolt up to a Recaro SRD, sure. You'll probably want to call Vision and ask rather than put yourself at the mercy of this forum when maybe one other person has that setup in his or her EK.

 

The Recaro SRDs use the bottom mount rails. The Vision One-Touch sliders for a 96-00 Civic will work. However, I prefer the Memory Fab slider/rail since it locks on both sides.

what do the locks do on the memory fab rails?

 

The Vision one touch only locks one rail, the Memory Fab locks both. It's a safety feature.

 

do you by chance know how much the memory fab ones cost? i know the vision one touch are 180 for the pair on jhp usa. i pmed a memory fab rep on ht a lil while ago.
