Default spc balljoint install

Finally getting around to putting the spcs on my ex knuckles. I had the old balljoints pressed out at napa, and i'm installing the adjustable balljoints.

Not sure that i have the plate on the uca correctly or straight. If i look at it from the top, the seam looks tight and its on as far as it will go. But once i put the balljoint on its slants to the side quite a bit. Is this how its suppose to be or is the plate on there incorrectly? I tried to get as many pictures as i could to show whats going on....

(nothing has been tightened up yet)

Are pics # 4 & 5 with the lower ball joint in place? I'm asking as just to a better idea of how the arm is aligning

Because the other one was more about taking the oem balljoints out... and how to put these in. I just wanted to focus this thread on are these installed correctly (with the pics), and the older thread happened to get bumped up at the same time.

A better question would be why you give a ****, its a technical question posted in the proper forum. i think i hear them calling you back to the circle jerk in the kills forum.

while not my first choice in camber correction, i don't think these will damage anything.. except more tires maybe.

As far as the original question goes, it doesn't look like you are given much choice in the matter. according to the pictures it looks like the sleeve that the ball joint normally presses into is slanted. Maybe this was taken into account when these were made maybe not. Button everything up and throw the wheel on, see what it looks like.

YOu said the spc's "look" like garbage, which means you most likely never owned them, never installed them and 99% chance have NO experience with them. So you grabbed a picture posted in another thread and reposted it here. And based on that picture you gonna say they will DEFINETLY hit. I've read both that they do and they dont but its really hard to cut through all the bullshit and make an educated purchase / decision when there's noobs running around posting **** they dont know about.

Hey buddy, I part out CRX's I have seen just about any and every aftermarket part you can imagine on these cars. I see FIRST HAND what every part can and will do to these cars. Not to mention I do installs, fab work, paint, ect. for these cars all the time. I have been around crx/civic chassis for a very long long time.

But whatever, don't take my word for it, just post up pics of your strut towers after a few hundred miles with these things installed.
