Why don't you take the saturn and drive it through a cornfield and wherever it dies, just leave it. Then you can buy yourself a civic.

um, the 03-05 Saturn Vue already has a Honda Engine & Tranny. That's about the only upside to any Saturn I've been around.

Assuming this isn't a joke, your best bet would simply be to work with the Saturn motor you already have. Aftermarket support for them is actually surprisingly decent.

assuming it's a DOHC engine... the SOHC engines are pure crap.

what does it have like an Accord or Ridgeline engine or something?
How do you know the Honda vehicle isn't using a GM engine?

It uses the same engine / tranny as the MDX & Pilot (NP0-4Axis).
Honda does in fact use a GM engine in some European diesel cars. That was the trade-off. Honda knew GM made a good diesel and GM could achieve better performance & endurance in the Vue by using Honda's powerplant.

Honda Passport & Acura SLX. Both of which have terrible resale values now.
