Default weird intake noise, bogging, fuel pressure fluctuating.

1. my short ram intake started making a noise that sounds like someone trying to throw up.
2. my car bogs when I try to accelerate quickly. Also had a flashing check engine light come on. it flashes 3 time very quickly and stays off for awhile then comes back on.
3. fuel pressure is around 42 psi at idle but if i blip the throttle it goes up to 64 or so, if i slowly press the throttle it stays at 42.

All of these things just started today. I can't go to autozone to get my CEL code checked yet because my battery has also died, I had to jump it to get it to start this morning, then just a half hour ago to come home from school, and now it isn't responding to jumping.

The car is a 2000 civic si. the only mods are intake, exhaust, and flywheel. I don't know if weather has anything to do with the problems, but it snowed yesterday, temps were in the single digits. it is 17 degrees right now and the wind chill this morning was -5.

get a new battery, then check your alternator. Your problem could just be do to your bad battery.

sounds like a misfire, jump your ecu and find out what dtc is stored.

btw you can push start your car, unless that battery is completly dead

I know I need a new battery. But would the battery also cause the intake noise and the fuel pressure fluctuation, because that seems unlikely.

I tried jumping the ecu, the CEL didn't flash at all. There is also some kind of red box attached to the ecu any idea what that could be?

yeah, I turned the key to were everything is on but the engine, waited two minutes and nothing happened, then I turned the engine on and nothing happened. I don't know the last time it had a tune up, I bought the car in july, and within a week after I bought it I had performance honda in fairfield do a inspection of it, the kind of inspect that is almost $200 then they replaced the rear brakes, and replaced the primary 02 sensor.

got a new battery, and spark plugs and the car seems to be running pretty normal. I pulled the CEL code and it was either 4 or 5. I think I might have missed a flash, if not then it was 4.
