Default poor mans type r

this is my first build that ive been just waiting to do because of money and now i have the money to do it.
update: i picked up my gsr block and now im trying to put together a list of what else i need and i need to finish up my wire tuck while the parts come in.

b16 gasket set+ gsr head gasket:
gsr oil pan gasket
arp gsr head bolts:
gsr oil and water pump:
flywheel and clutch:
type r cams and adj. cam gears:
obd0-obd1 conversion harness:
p28 ecu:
i think that's it besides a lot of cleaning and im still contemplating on whether i should paint the engine bay white while the engine is out.ill pst pics up later.
the project car

the gsr block

my work station

pulled the wiring harnes through the firewall and now fixing all the wiring because the people that did the swap before i got the car decided to kind of halfass it.

i broke this so how do i go about getting a new one, like what car would it be for

Buy a complete gasket for 94 DOHC VTEC del sol. And get GSR T belt and water pump. In what chassis will motor go in, if gsr then use gsr if ef or eg I recommend hasport. Oh yeah the shifter linkage if going into ef will need mods on size and if on integra perfect fit on transmission. Good luck.

Is that a question? Both blocks are 81mm bore.

Right on then. But yes, the B16A/B, B17, and B18A/B/C all have an 81mm bore. The B20 is just an 84mm bore B18A/B block.

alright heres the whole story. i had a jdm b16a in my 91 civic si, i spun a rod bearing so i decided to go poor mans r. i found a gsr block with jdm type r pistons os .5mm and gsr rods. i already have a b16 head, b16 tranny so all i need now is
mounts for the gsr
gsr head bolts
gsr t belt
gsr water and oil pump
alt belt cuz old one is too skinny
94 del sol dohc vtec gaskets
why do i need a shift linkage, will the one for my b16 not work?

If you already had a B16 in there you don't need any new shift-linkage
