Default Driver side vent blowing cold air, why?

Anybody experience this? I was just curious.....nomatter what heat setting i use the driver side vent is cold air. Sucks cause you can't close it. I move the vents around but you feel the cold air either on your leg or your face

The middle vents will blow hot air and so will the passenger side.

Any ideas guys??

its the little *** u can go from left to right under the vent one way it will let the air from outside in and the other direction closes it off and then the heat will come throught kinda hard to explain
its right under the vent

Your fresh air vent is either open, broken or not sealing correctly.

I was playing with that little slide thing the whole way home driving. I felt only cold air and my nuts were cold the whole ride home. While my wife was saying how nice and warm her side was

If i remove the plastic vent can i fix it from there? Or do i need to remove the whole dash?

Most likely your cable has broken, no need to remove dash as you can fix it. It isn't hard but it isn't fun.

Remove coin tray, follow the cable and black sheath from the "slide thing" towards the firewall.

When you get close to the firewall you should run into a white piece in which the one end will accept a cable and the middle has a screw in it. You can close it manually right there. Don't force anything!

Also DO NOT put a screw driver down the vent to close it this way. You will break something and be worse off.

You will have to lay on your back under the steering wheel, head against pedals and feet on the headrest to see what I am talking about. I have done several of them.

I had the same problem. I pulled the vent and noticed it wasnt sealing so I set it on the closed position and added a ring of sticky rubber to stop the air.

Thanks guys, its 22 degrees in NY today but i had to check it out, lol.
I did slide that button underneath the vent to the left which did stop most of the cold air. The car also got hotter alot faster after doing so i must say. But the center vents blows strong while the pass and driver side are just weak. Maybe its normal.......

Its supposed to hit 58 degrees on tues in NY so i'll check it out then. I'll double check the vent seals and cables
