Default DC Sports 4-1 Header hits oil pan

I have a DC Sports 4-1 ceramic coated header for a 94-99 GSR on a jdm B18C1. Header was difficult to install. Problem now is that it vibrates against the bottom of the oil pan once the engine has warmed up.
Has anyone else run into this problem with these headers?
What's the best fix?
I tried putting header wrap around the section where it touches the oil pan, but there's not enough space to fit it in between.

Can't see it in the pic, but the header touches the oil pan about 2-4" from the front of the pan.

Again, can't see in the blurry pic, but the pn AHC6607PS is etched onto the rear mount.

And you not only have an integra, you most likely have the correct part, we're just curious if the topic creator has an integra and if so if he has the right part # for his app.

Yes, it's for a 94-99 Integra GSR (DC Sports p/n: AHC6607).
My teg is an LS w/ a jdm GSR swap.
Is the oil pan on a jdm B18C1 different from a usdm B18C1?

I think there's your problem right there. The 94-99 gs-r header is shorter than all of the other integra headers.

If everything header-back is for an LS, then your entire exhaust system is short about 1.5". My guess, your header is being pulled back by the rest of the exhaust and hitting the oil pan.

You can physically bolt any b-series up to any b-series because they're the same bolt pattern. They're not all the same length though.

My whole exhaust system is for a 94-99 GSR.
DC 4-1 GSR (94-99) header -> Random Tech GSR (94-99) Hi-flow Cat -> Apexi WS2 catback for (94-99) cat-back exhaust.

If I only connect the header to the engine and not to the catalytic conv., it still touches the oil pan.

Maybe the header is malformed / defective?

PITA, but I'll probably uninstall the header, wrap that section, and then reinstall it.
Will try to get some pics of it tomorrow or Sat.

i thought we're talking about the height of the header. not the length

is the header brand new? It sounds like its bent, and is touching the pan. FWIW, I have a DC header on my GSR (as well as my friend with a GSR swap in a CRX), and they both fit fine without touching the oil pan.

not all dc headers will fit any b series motor, i have a 94 ls w/ 01 gsr swap and ceramic dc hearder but i tried 1 from a 00 Si and deck height was lower so that 1 hit! I tried to beat it to fit and never did so i just patched the 1 that came with the motor.

Interesting, do u happen to have any pics of that header?
Was it DC Sports p/n HHC5604?

I'm pretty sure the header I have is the correct part. It doesn't have an o2 bung.
I'll try to snap some pics of it later.

im thinkin you might have a b16 header, ive run a few dc's over the years and never even came close to touchin the oil pan. if its for sure a b18 header then its bent, u could try takin it to a muffler shop and see if they can bend it down a little?

I'm running a DA 92-93 DC Sports 4-1 ceramic header on my 94 GSR and it lays up against the oil pan also, I just figured mine is like that because it is a header for the DA, although it is the same length because the 92-93 DA's have a little extension pipe on it.

Added some pics in the 1st post.

I unbolted the cat and rear mount and the used a pry bar to flex the header down a bit so I could wedge some header wrap between the header and the oil pan.
I also filed the tops of the rear mount bolt holes since it was a really tight fit.

Will have to test if it still vibrates.

No dice, still touching/vibrating on oil pan. Can't be good for oil temps.

I had to cut the ends off the bolts on the rear bracket w/ a dremel so I could slide it on after the header was installed. I also widened the holes on the bracket w/ a file.

I'm fed up with this header.
Probably gonna look for something else.
