recently me a friend of mine was pull over by police. of course he had an illegal swap in his eg so they gave him a fix it ticket. since we both have eg's and mine is stock i decided to swap motors so he can pass the smog. the only thing is his eg is an si and mine is a dx and i was wondering what do i need for his car to pass smog becuse his check engine light still comes on.

this is really stressing us out please help

we have FAQ's for this.

if you have an EG, you need to ask those guys.... but im sure it's pretty straight forward. if its a vtec swap, you may need to run 1 wire for vtec.

if you have an EF like your screenname hints at, you'll need to look at DPFI to MPFI wiring first and foremost.
