Default lx sedan with si rims (wheel spacer question)

i am trying to put on some si rims on the lx sedan. I brought a set of spacers that works on both 4x100 and 5x114. It says that the spacer works from 5x100 to 5x120mm. I put them on and it slides a little. Is it supposed to be like that?

thanks
-matt

i actually had SI coupe rims put on my LX sedan a couple months ago and havent had a single issue with it. The front brake calipers clears for me and no shaving or spacers were needed.

Heres one of my talented MSpaint skills - looking to paint the grill and add sidemarkers.

Make sure your spacers are hubcentric and not the universal ones I think you have

A hubcentric spacer effectively moves the hub face out, the weight of the wheel is still held by the hub. On those universal spacers that have a bunch of holes in them the weight isnt held by the hub, rather more by the lugs from what Ive read.
If you are going to run spacers make sure they are hubcentric

What difference would EX make? If they fit on the Si, they should fit on the Ex with no problems.

Oh ok...but then why would an LX work fine? (philip said he did it with an lx)

That is a legit question, because I really know nothing about backspacing, wheels, etc.
