ABS light came on, help?
I checked the code using a paper clip and I got 6 1 which means a fail-safe relay (front) but I have no idea what that means. I checked all the fuses, is this a part that I need to replace? Where can I get it? Thanks...
Sounds like something only the dealership would have?.. I hope I'm wrong cause they're pricey.

The fail safe relays are mounted below the ABS modulator in your car. You need a Helm manual for this troubleshooting (see my signature). Basically the trouble shooting has you pull the relay and check for continuity. If the relay is fine, it goes on to have you check the connector and wiring to the ABS modulator.

The fail safe relays disable the ABS solenoids in the event of a malfunction of the ABS system. When activated, your brakes behave like conventional brakes. Look under your hood at the ABS modulator. Both relays are mounted below the modulator. Trace the loom.
