I agree, I've read some crazy bad advice and techniques on here. The cool thing about autobody is there is a range of ways to do things correctly, not just one absolute. The interwebs/google in general is a great resource for information for many skilled trades and DIY info. You just have to take the time to search around. If you do buy an autobody book, get something thats up to date with current materials, techniques and technology.
the thing i hate about getting info on forums about a big process is reading through pages and pages of useless info, then getting some useful stuff, then more BS.
