Oil 'Disappering' ??
Apologies in advance for something that sound stupid!!!!Didn't drive the GSR for the last 2,3 weeks due to holidays.
Just looked at it before driving oday in the dip stick and couldn't see anything.??
Added 1 QT. Idled for 5 minutes. waited for 5, 10 minutes and checked the dip stick. It was less than the MINIMUM mark in the dip stick.
Added 1 more QT. Now, its just above the MAX level dot mark in the dip stick.
Considering that GSR has 4.1 QT capacity, any idea as to what's going on? Is it OK to drive around with oil just above the MAX level dot mark in the dip stick?

Start by looking over your motor for signs of leaks. Then do a compression test to check your rings. You are fine driving it with the oil a little over the max dot.
See if you have any oil on the left side of the head where it meets the block. The cam seals leak if they have not been changed. I'm leaking 1qt every 2000 miles from here and possibly the crankshaft. The last owner replaced the timing belt, just forgot to do the other scheduled stuff at the same time.

Do you fill it up to the full line on the dip stick?

The amount of oil is different for different Integra models. And for all I know, it may be different for different Integra generations, too. For the third-gen Integra ('94-01), the VTEC motors (Type R B18C5 and GS-R B18C1) both take 4.2 quarts, and the non-VTEC motors (all other, B18B1) take 4.0 quarts. These are the amounts when you're changing the oil and filter. These are the numbers shown in the owner's manual and service manual, and I've found that they are very accurate; if you fully drain before refilling, these amounts will fill it to the top line on the dipstick.
Oil consumption in our engines is normal, especially as they get older and accumulate miles. Our '94 GS-R with 170K+ miles is now using one quart every 500 miles.
If you didn't have any oil on your dipstick, you need to check it a LOT more frequently. I would suggest checking it every 200-300 miles and keeping track of how much oil it is using, until you know exactly how much you have to put in every so many miles.

Thanks...mine is a 99 gsr with 85K miles
I guess I need to check the oil level more freequently. If it was really low, the lowl oil level indicator should have come up? right?

the oil pressure light only comes on when the pressure drops between a certain point, it doesn't come on for low oil level. by the time the light comes on your engine will probably be done for.
