I was wondering and am in need to know if any of the (VTEC) Accord IACV's will interchange with B-series or civic's I know the d-series ones will work with B-series one and I've just spent the last twenty minutes searching for this type of information, BELIEVE IT OR NOT.

Nontheless I was able to look at the back of a B16A OBD1 while I was looking at this honda parts place and compare the two and they look identical except one was just on an accord. Either way if anyone could lend me a hand with this I'll be able to pick it up today or tomorrow if it does work out.

Alot of the IACV's are the same. Just bring your original one w/ you to compare. As long as the bolts and ports line up it will work. Some will have different coolant bypass valves facing different ways.

 

Couldn't that be taken care of by just getting longer or shorter lines to make up for the change in direction?
