Default B16a2 swap ?s

Let's start of by saying I 've searched with no clarification on this.

If you have or done this swap b4, please let me know.

Here's the specs:

91 CRX HF
OBD0->OBD1 (cut 'n soldered)
OBD0 engine harness (cut 'n soldered)
P28 chipped
B16a2 2nd gen (99 Civic SI)
OBD1 Dizzy
Hydro Tranny
HAsport EFB2 kit (wrong cable holder bracket)
Eg knuckles

Now my ? are:

1. What alternator are you guys using? Year, Make, Model?
The 99-00 Civic SI ones have a square plug w/ thin wires, my harness have the round plug w/ thick wires. I was about to cut 'n solder it, but I don't think it's safe.

2. Do I have to use 90-93 Integra axles w/ intermediate shaft or can I use the 99-00 Civic SI axles w/ intermediate shaft?

1. Alt should be used from anything with a B Series from 90-95 OBD0/OBD1 which will have have the round plug.

2. Reason why you are using the EG knuckles? Rather than stock -unless you have the smaller spline, but why not DA or proper EF?
I'd recommend getting axles propler built for the application (such as DSS which we offer). Not trying to push a sale, just think it would be best as they can be built to the appliction with which intermediate shaft you have to use, and your current set up.

Assuming your alter plug is still obd0 you can use a 90-91 integra ls alter. I also heard a gsr alt has more amps to it but you can search and find it for sure.

As far as axles, what halfshaft are you using??

Cuz the stock one has the smaller spline...I've been running the eg's for over a year now. With the car lowered, the cambers are -.01.

I'm running the original set-up. 99 Civic SI

Those civic si axles won't work
Either get custom axles or run a different halfshaft

Whys that?
I read some other post claiming it works.

Anyways..I'm currently putting the motor in now and ran into some more problem.

1. Hasport rear mount + 91 teg L bracket = 1/4-1/2in. gap between mount and bracket.

2. What throttle cable should I be running?

those axles will work fine. stock cable works fine if you make a new cable holder.
You need any b series alt from 90-95 that all have the round plug

Cool..thanks for the clarification..

Can anyone post up a pix of the rear L bracket that I need to use.
I got one from a junkyard and they said it's from a 91 teg.

I got the engine to fired up today..so far so good.

Now my next question is how can I hook up the smog canister?
There's a red hose that goes to the throttle body, but the A2 throttle body doesn't have that nipple/hole.

#2. your going to need different axle than the si axles and half shaft... just use 90-93 teg axle/shaft, also remember to remove the ring on the axle.

**Update**

Test drove the car today and no problems w/ the SI axles :D.
I still need some info on the Smog canister & Throttle body.
I'm also wondering what stock intake pipe will fit the b16 throttle body to the stock intake box. I don't want to go aftermarket, pigs here are little B*&$
