Default best LCA for being slammed

It seems that most aftermarket LCA's are designed with the middle hole (where the shock sits) slightly offset lower so the shock sits lower down, inturn making the car sit lower.

I just wondered what peoples opinions were on which make LCA sits the car lower?

The shock fork hole sits lower because that's how the stock LCA's are.

All the LCA's I've seen retain stock geometry, except for the old-school Suspension Techniques Pro Arms, which haven't been sold in quite awhile.

The only front LCA's I've seen are from Function7 or OmniPower, and they're only the front half of the A-arm. IMHO the weight savings isn't really worth the US $300+ price tag.

yeah i agree about the FLCA's, way too pricey atm, especially for just the front half, plus add shipping to the UK

Iv heard a few things about these pro arms, is there anywhere/anyone who has a pair to sell? Or are there any other makes that do a similar design?

I purchased a new set of Omnipower LCAs recently.
They were great and for a great price as well. However, I cant say i noticed that much of a difference of anything.

I haven't seen a set for sale in a long time, there was a race car around were i race and he had an adjustable set for the RLCA but he ended up welding the jam nut in place because according to him they wouldn't stay tight and would move.

Your best bet would be to search the classifieds here on HT.

No other company has released any thing different from stock though, a few company's marketing BS says that they are different from stock but they aren't

Probably the only reason I would buy aftermarket LCA's is if I broke off a bolt that seized in one of the LCA bushings.

But that hasn't happened to me since I bought the car in 2001.
