are all LCA'S junk?
so ive been looking into getting some aftermarket lower control arms. but from what ive read they are all junk, and their bushings rip out and tear. i really only want them for looks so it doesnt matter so much if i get them or not. im not going to put something on that will cause constant headaches though and having to change out bushings all the time.
so what is everyones opinion on aftermarket lca's.
i have read a ton about how bad blox is so im definetly staying away from them.
i am considering ksport currently.
all opinions welcome

ksports are not poly bushings. the two best are skunk2 and f7, but as with every car part comes a name brand and price. We not only pay for quality but also the status. I love the f7s, they are pricey but look really nice.

I've had blox on a couple civics, megan on a civic, and f7 on my ITR. Never had a problem with any of them. My EG8 with megan LCA's sat outside for a while as a shell and i did see the bushings begin to dry-rot, but that's happens to anything like that when it just sits in the weather.

Re: are all LCA'S junk?
Sorry... I didn't give a reason because it's the same as the ones above. The bushings were worn after a month or less. Also, I had my car a little too low for a while and my exhaust rubbed my LCA and the exhaust was really winning the battle. It rubbed about 1 centimeter into the LCA which doesn't make me feel like it's very good quality, exhaust tubing is pretty thin metal.

I'm rocking Wicked Tuning. They even survived my acciden in my other car, ripped the subframe clean when the car got t-boned into the curb. One bent slightly, but bushings are Solid. 3 years of use and no issues. Very affordable too. But be warned, the anodized red does turn pink.

Re: are all LCA'S junk?
OEM arms work the best. They have the best rubber bushings. You have to clock the bushings like you clock every other rubber bushing...but the OEM bushings last a LONG *** time.
I clocked my Omni arms and the bushings still seperated out like 2 months later. They're also so weak that the bolts are ready to tear through them. Garbage.
Pretty much any aftermarket LCA with rubber bushings is garbage.
The ones with poly bushings work better since you don't have to clock poly bushings because they're usually full floating anyway. But poly bushings harshen the ride a little too much for me (on a DD).
What's wrong with OEM? Not pretty enough?

they are totally not pretty enough. i wanted to have one to let me run a swaybar, i went to the junkyard to get something cheap and stock but the only car that would have had some that would work on my car was ravaged like a lone white woman in nigeria.
it did have the swaybar and brackets, had to get da endlinks though. so i was like the last guy in a 40 man gangrape.

OEM will last at least 10 years, and work just fine!!! When i redid the suspension on my EM1, i went oem, and no problems, i could care less if they were shinny
